Jan. & Feb. 2017

We had surprisingly warm weather for January & February this year so we spent a lot of time outside.  We went to the park, greenway, botanical gardens and burrit on the mountain.  Emma & Lila love to be outside.  We are ready for spring!  Lila got her second bottom tooth in and has been changing quickly.  She loves to look at books, babbles and makes new sounds, loves to try new foods and crawls everywhere!

Dec 2016

In December, Emma had fun helping Andrew & I make sugar cookies for our neighbors & friends.  Emma & Lila enjoyed the lights parade in downtown Madison.  Lila learned how to army crawl this month so her favorite place to crawl to was the Christmas tree which was surrounded by our train and train track that she loved destroying.  Once the track was taken apart she could then get close enough to the tree to reach up and grab the lights & ribbon.  She is a very curious, busy body!  She also discovered this month that she loves to feed herself finger foods, not into the purreed stuff, but she will put anything she can pick up into her mouth!  We drove home to Lincoln once again for Christmas and the girls were surprisingly great on the car trip.  Emma & Lila loved being with family & having cousins to play with!
